That's right! It is finally here! I am so excited that it is here, I just want for it to go really well for Karl and some other friends I have taking the exam, as well. I will be sitting here in utter anguish until I hear from Karl. They should be back in about an hour or so for lunch and we'll go from there. Hopefully we will hear that the test went well and then he will be getting ready for the physical exam, which is at 1:30, I think.
Well, to keep my mind off of the craziness that is our life (aka TEST!), we'll talk about my birthday!!! :) I had a GREAT birthday! :) For starters, I got to sleep in 'til 10, which was great. Karl came home for lunch at 11:30 and went back to class at 1. I started getting ready at 1:30, with Kiana who really didn't help much, I might add. When Sharon came to pick me up I was super stoked to go . . . ALICE AND WONDERLAND, here we come! We stopped by to get Mara and got to the Theater and into the movie right as it was starting . . . perfect timing, if you ask me. I thought that the movie was great, other than the setting. Just think of three young girls with an adult who was just as childish as the girls. Between the seat kicking and ridiculous sounds, I was kinda glad that the movie ended just to get out of there and to have some normalcy. But really, it was a great movie. :) Right after the movie, we went over to Red Lobster and hung out in the parking lot for a bit, just chit chatting and picking on Karl . . . he fell asleep while waiting for us to get there. :) We went inside after about 20-25 minutes and waiting for about 10 to be seated (and beckoned by the awkward remote thingy that they gave Mara, that talked to us!). Nat got there with the cute little ones and we had a great, tasty meal. To top it all off, we had their Red Lobster version of Cheddar's Cookie Monster. :) Very yummy. Then we went out to the cars and I got to open my gifts. :) I got a lot of great things: garden stones, a windsock, a Cricut, three cartridges for the Cricut, and some paper and other designing funness! I am super excited! Now to only make room for my amazing gifts so I can use them this summer.
Well I am off to wait . . . some more. Later!
