Yes, you read that correctly - it has been 2 months. I cannot believe that it has been long since I have blogged last. We have had so much going on that I guess we have not had time to write about it - ever have the same feeling? Well, let's see, where do we start. Our little nephew was born - Stetson. So adorable! We were able to go and see him and Nat & Mara the night of his birth and it was just so exciting! We were also able to move Amanda out of the house, although probably half of her stuff is still in our house. LOL. It was definitely interesting moving her in and not getting to stay - although I did get asked if I was moving in, too. That's right, I still look like a college student. Hmmm . . . not sure what to think about that. :) Right after moving Amanda out, I started in-service and I am on to my third week of school, already!! Crazy, right?? It has been a crazy beginning, which I am sure will happen each and every year. I am enjoying this year immensely more than last year in terms of teaching. I am now working on maintaining discipline and it has been CRAZY but I am sure it will be an awesome year. I was actually able to go to one of my kids soccer games today and that was great! I absolutely loved talking with their family and just watching them play - so cute!
And . . . Karl got a new job! That's right. He starts his new job in a little over two weeks. We are both so excited for this opportunity for him. And the best part is is that he will have a regular schedule so we can have weekends together and actually start going to church together!!! I am so excited. He will start his new job a few days after getting back from a short trip to Michigan for dad's wedding, so it will be a nice vacation before hitting it hard. :)
And . . . I started my 4th semester of grad work and I am a little overwhelmed to say the least. I have so much to do this semester. I am just glad that the chaos of jobs is out of the way. It may help things more than what I originally envisioned.
I think that is all of the main things that have happened lately. If I have forgotten something, I am so sorry. We are bout to go to a friend's house for dinner, so I better jet. See ya!
